Yes, a contest.

So what is it?
The people over at APEMADE Software make apps for devices that begin with the letter 'i'. (iPod touches, iPhones, etc.) And they want some artwork for an app they are making.

They said...

"APEMADE Software is able to give you a chance to become famous over night.
For our new game, a little puzzle, we need you. ……YES. YOU!

What can you do for us?
We need arts with the following specifications.
The size of the picture has to be from 480 x 480 to 800 x 800. It must be colored.
The theme is free to your choice, except portraits, fan art or photo manipulation
(Suggestion: landscape, still live, etc.)
Deadline is the 30 September 2010 at midnight.

What can we do for you?
The best 10 deviations will be honored on our website, facebook and of course deviantart.com.
These 10 pictures will also be used for a brand new application, we will offer worldwide for i-Phone, i-Pod touch and i-Pad. We will not cut or deform your pictures. Every artist will be named with his/her real or artist name and his/her picture.

What can you win as an extra?
Places 1 -10: A Promo Code of the game, for free download
Places 2 – 5: 200 DA-points
First Place: Three-month-premium account"

Yes, contest submissions to the 'Contest Entries' gallery folder only! Submissions to anywhere else will not be entered in the contest!

Summary
Your entry must be between 480px x 480px square and 800px x 800px square.
You cannot enter portraits, fan art or photo-manipulation.
1st place gets a 3 month premium membership to deviantART, 200 points, and a promotion code to download the app for free.
2nd-5th place get 200 points and a promotion code.
6th-10th place get the promotion code.
1st-10th gets their entry used in the app!
Entries go to the 'Contest Entries' gallery folder.
You may enter as many times as you want and submit the artwork to other groups.
Contest ends at midnight on the 30th September 10th October MET (Middle European Time, GMT+2)

NB, I didn't organise this contest, so I didn't make the rules. Complain if you want, but I can't do anything about them.
